Sinopse:
Dos sacerdotes de la Congregación para las Causas de los Santos, el equipo del Vaticano responsable de verificar y estudiar los milagros de potenciales santos, son enviados a México para verificar supuestas sanaciones milagrosas en una institución psiquiátrica por parte de otro clérigo. Al llegar a Ciudad de México reciben la noticia de que el sacerdote ha desaparecido. Sus vidas y su fe son puestas a prueba cuando descubren una colonia psiquiátrica ubicada en la periferia que parece esconder más de un secreto: un misterio enterrado durante décadas que involucra a todos los habitantes del pueblo.
