Its the day of the schools ball sports tournament. Izumi-kun is playing soccer with the boys, and Shikimori-san is participating in the girls volleyball match. Izumi-kun knows he cant contribute much, but he plays his hardest anyway. Shikimori-san worries about him, given his natural unluckiness... and surely enough, he gets hit in the face by a soccer ball and blacks out. He ends up in the nurses office while Shikimori-san looks after him, meaning the two of them are alone. Then Shikimori-san says shes going to stay with him instead of heading back to play in the volleyball match...
