Zatch Bell!(2003)

1 - The Lightning Boy from Another World

Kiyo is a junior high student whos a genius, yet repeatedly cuts his classes because he is literally smarter than most teachers in the school. Meanwhile, in a forest in England, Kiyos archaeologist father discovers a Mamado child named Zatch, who has no memory of who he is or of his past. Kiyos father sends Zatch to Kiyo as a sort of mentor. However, Kiyo doesnt take kindly to Zatchs efforts. The 14-year-old pulls a prank on the boy by saying hell rescue Zatch from the schoolyard bully. Even as Zatch is pummeled by the bully, Zatch continues to stick up for Kiyo. Kiyo finally steps out from behind a door to aid Zatch, and basically gets his butt kicked. Then out of the blue, a skateboarder rides onto the roof with another kid like Zatch on his shoulder and, somehow, blows away the bully. Literally. 2 - A Freezing Spell

Kiyos mind keeps returning to his first battle with Zatch as he continuously fails to dicipher the Red Book. He is amazed at Zatchs abilities, though that gets thrown aside when Zatch displays his wide variety of backpack outfits. As he returns to school with the little momodo, the team finds a guy with a momodo of his own, this one with the power to freeze anything, stealing a car from a hapless victim. Kiyo ignores the crime, marveling at both the kid and Blue Book while the guy gets away. The crook turns back up at the bank to hold it up while Susie is there for a withdrawal. At the same time, Zatch shoots off his mouth about Kiyo at school, almost getting them into trouble again. Kiyo ignores it and walks away. Along the way home, they catch a news report in a store window about the hold up. Kiyo instantly becomes torn between helping Susie and leaving the authorities to handle it. 3 - The Second Spell

As the episode begins, Kiyo is once again paging through Zatchs spellbook, attempting to puzzle out the second spell, Rashield. But he has little luck, and soon abandons the task. When Zatch announces that hell be accompanying Kiyo to school, the teenager is alarmed and yells at Zatch in an attempt to keep the Mamado from following him. Zatch does not take this well, and demands to know what hes supposed to do by himself. Kiyo, ever the genius, quickly whips up a small cardboard doll called the Voltron 3000 to keep Zatch occupied while he slips out to school. Though Zatch adores the toy, he follows Kiyo anyway, bringing the Volcan 300 along for the ride. Kiyo is annoyed to discover that because of the bank incident that occured the previous day, everyone is convinced hes some kind of freakish hero and therefore everyone stares at him and whispers about him behind his back. 4 - The Great Mamodo Battle

After finding Zatch showing off his powers, Kiyo abandoned Zatch. Zatch found a lost dog on a bridge. Then, a strange girl named Sherrie and her weird mamodo, Brago, came to Kiyos house. When Zatch came home with his dog, he heard Kiyo, Brago, and Sherrie talking. When Zatch heard Sherrie said that if Kiyo keeps him, Kiyo will get hurt. When Zatch left, he saw a strange man in a cloak. When the man pulled out a book, and then the dog that Zatch found turned into a spiky monster.

5 - The Dark Mamodo

After hearing Zatch scream, Kiyo ran downstairs, he paused and watched from the stairs. He runs down and pushes Zatch out of the way of an attack, which left a dent in the wall. Cheri asks Brago if its another mamodo, already knowing the answer, he replies affirmative and asks what they should do. She tells him to let them beat each other up a bit. Downstairs, Zatch tells Kiyo that the dog is his friend; Kiyo tells Zatch that if its so, hed hate to see his enemies and sends a lightning attack at the charging monster after they cast another spell. When the man uses another spell, that sends sharp rocks out of the dogs back, Kiyo jumps in front of Zatch and takes the hit himself. Cheri decided to put an end to ‘these childish games and intervened. Brago jumps down the stairs, landing directly in front the intruders with his palm out, ready. Cheri shouts the ‘Reis spell, and the same ball that hit Kiyo knocked the dog out, turning it back to a puppy. Cheri tells the man to leave the

6 - The Mystery Of The Missing Red Book

After the battle with Cheri and her dark Mamodo, Kiyo is sent to the hospital with a kid named Shuuta, who was to be released 6 monthes ago. Zatch tries to cheer Shuuta up, but is shunned and given his lunch. When Kiyo tries to cheer him up, Shuuta snaps and steals his red book while Kiyo gets some juice! Then he threatens to burn it! Will Kiyo find the book in time, or is it bye-bye Zatch Bell?

7 - Botanical Badness

Zatch tries to make friends with the same kids from last time in the park, but was shunned and made fun of, being called a freak. One of them says shes going to the zoo with HER friends, Zatch doesnt have any...except Kiyo and Suzie! Kiyo offers to take them to the botanical gardens, only to find an old friend, Ivy, and a new enemy with a Mamodo, whove been training for the Mamodo fight. While Suzie is away, the Mamodo and his master use their powers on the trees and the people, including Ivy! Kiyo comes up with a plan to save the people and stop them, but will it be enough?

8 - A Kind Mamodo, Kolulu

A female Mamodo appears in the city and instantly becomes friends with a girl named Lori, sort of like how Kiyo and Zatch met, except without the smashing windows. The Mamodos names Kolulu and is very sweet and thinks of Lori as a big sister. Soon after Kolulu meets Zatch and instantly remembers him. Which is going to do; fighting her in her otherself or sending her back to the Mamodo World like the others from the past when she proves to be one of the few good Mamodos who refuses to fight?

10 - The Elite Mamodo

Zatch believes that he has found another kind mamodo, but when kiyo discovers he and his partner plan to destroy the city, will he and and zatch be forced to fight them?

11 - The Invincible Folgore

Zacth and Kiyo encounter a shapeshifting mamodo, Kyanchome, and his partner, a singing sensation named Folgore! What is wrong with this picture, and why is everyone after Zatch?

12 - Sherry's Rhapsody of Life
